One day inside your business
A report that shows where you can make money with Ai Automation, quickly and easily without any downtime.
What you get
- A full day on site (or remote) with the person who built recruitment back office and outreach automation for a living, not a generalist consultant
- Interviews with you, a top biller, your resourcing and your back office, plus live observation of how the work is actually done
- A written report, delivered within five working days, with a red/amber/green scorecard across six areas of your business and an annual £ figure against each finding
- A 30/60/90 day roadmap, quick wins first, using tools you already own where possible
- Complete confidentiality. A signed NDA and data processing agreement before we see anything
How it works
Before the day. A 30 minute data request: your tech stack, headcount and desk split, twelve months of placement numbers, database size and age. If it is temp or contract, your debtor days and weekly payroll volume.
On the day. We sit with the money and the machinery. Your MD on where revenue really comes from. A top biller working a live role while we time every step. Your back office walking one full weekly cycle end to end. Your finance numbers: debtor days, disputes, margin by client.
Within five days. The report lands. Page one is a scorecard a director can read in two minutes. Every finding has a number attached, taken from your business on the day, not an industry average.
Where we usually find the money
The dormant database. Agencies pay job boards to find candidates they already own. A 40,000 record database with 90% untouched in two years is a revenue asset sitting idle.
Consultant admin. A biller on £35,000 doing fifteen hours a week of CV formatting, data entry and copy and paste is £13,000 a year of salary spent on typing, before you count the placements not made in those hours.
The temp back office. Timesheets, pay and bill, self billing, invoicing, credit control. Hours every week, errors that turn into disputes, and cash locked up in debtor days. On £2m of temp turnover, every single day of debtor days is roughly £5,500 of your cash in someone else’s account.
Outreach that only happens when desks are quiet. Business development and candidate contact in bursts is backwards. Consistent, paced, automated outreach fills the pipeline while your consultants sell.
Compliance. Right to work, GDPR, CIS. Rarely the headline. Always in the report, because it is the finding that costs the most when it goes wrong.
Why Talentleap
TalentLeap is run by a recruiter, not a software salesman. Twenty seven years running desks and agencies in construction and engineering recruitment, now building the AI systems agencies run on: LinkedIn outreach automation, CRM and database platforms, and full back office automation covering timesheets, self billing, umbrella and CIS payments, invoice finance and Xero.
We audit your agency the way an owner would, because that is what we are.
The investment
£1,500, paid on booking. One day plus the report. No hourly surprises, no scope creep.
If you go on to implement with TalentLeap within 30 days, the audit fee is credited against your first project.
Looking for an “AI audit”?
That phrase usually means one of two other things. If you need bias testing, an EU AI Act gap analysis or ICO compliance work on an AI hiring tool, that is AI governance auditing — a real and separate discipline, and not what we do. If you want to know whether ChatGPT recommends your agency, that is AI search visibility, also not this.
This is the third thing: a day working out where the time and the money actually go on your desk, and what to automate first. If that is what you were after, you are in the right place.
Common Questions
Is this a sales pitch for your software?
No. The report recommends the cheapest route to each fix, and the quick wins use tools you already pay for. Where a TalentLeap product is the right answer we will say so, and you are free to take the report to anyone.
What about our data?
An NDA and a GDPR data processing agreement are signed before we see anything. We work in your systems, take copies only where a task requires it, and delete them when the work is done.
Do you need to be on site?
A day on site is best for the observation work. Fully remote works where travel is impractical.
We do not use AI at all. Is it too early for us?
That is the best time. The audit tells you where to start and what to ignore, before you spend money on the wrong tools.
