TALK TO A PERSON

There is no ticket queue and no chatbot. You get Simon, who built it and uses it every day.

Replies within one working day. If something is actively costing you placements, ring rather than email.

GETTING STARTED

1. Install the extension, then click its icon in the Chrome toolbar to open the side panel.
2. Create an account from the panel, or sign in if you have one.
3. Press LinkedIn at the top of the panel and sign in when the tab opens. Come back and it will say Connected.
4. Open any LinkedIn profile and press RE-READ THIS PERSON. Their name, job title and employer appear in the panel.
5. Press ADD THIS PERSON TO LIST to keep them, or add them to a campaign.

WhatsApp and Lusha are optional. Connect them only if you want to message people directly or look up contact details. Lusha lookups are charged to your own Lusha credits.

QUESTIONS WE ACTUALLY GET ASKED

Why does the company look different to their headline?

Because we read the Experience section rather than the headline. Headlines say things like "Hiring! DM me" or name a company somebody left two years ago. The Experience section is the one people keep up to date.

Why can't I put a note on my connection request?

LinkedIn allows a Basic account only five connection requests a month carrying a note, including ones you type by hand in the app. Without a note the same account may send roughly 150 a week. So on Basic we send no note and let your first follow-up do the talking the moment they accept. On Sales Navigator or Recruiter you can turn the note back on.

How many can I send a day?

A newly connected LinkedIn account starts at 10 a day, rises to 15 in its second week, then settles at 20 a day on Basic or 25 on Sales Navigator and Recruiter. Weekly ceilings are 100 and 125. That climb is deliberate — an account that goes from nothing to full pelt overnight is what LinkedIn restricts.

Nothing sent at the weekend.

Correct. Sending runs Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, one action at a time with random gaps. There is no setting to override it.

It asked me to confirm how many people I was contacting.

It will always do that. Pressing Start tells you the number and waits for you to agree. If people are added to the campaign afterwards, it stops and asks again rather than quietly contacting the extras. These are real people and the number should never be a surprise.

Do you read my LinkedIn inbox?

No. We store the messages you send so you have a record of your own activity. We do not read incoming mail.

Can I send WhatsApp messages in bulk?

No, and there are no plans to. Every WhatsApp message is typed by you, to one person, capped at 20 a day. Bulk WhatsApp is how numbers get banned.

Where is my data?

In your own account, in a database hosted in the EU. Only you and your agency's managers can see it, enforced at the database rather than only in the interface. Deleting a person deletes their record. Closing your account deletes your data.

WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG

The panel is asking me to sign in again

Your session has expired. Sign in and it will remember you. If it asks every time you open the panel, tell us — that is a fault, not normal.

Capture came back empty

Two usual causes. Either you are not on a LinkedIn page, because capture deliberately refuses to read anything else, or the Experience section had not loaded. Scroll down the profile until you can see it, then press capture again.

My campaign paused itself

It will be showing you why. Campaigns stop on purpose: an invitation too long, a message LinkedIn refused, an allowance used up, or people added since you pressed Start. Nobody is contacted while it is paused, and anyone already invited still gets their follow-up when they accept. Read the reason, fix it, press Start again.

LinkedIn has stopped accepting my invitations

Your account has hit a limit at LinkedIn's end, not ours. Leave it a few days before starting again. It is also worth withdrawing old pending invitations, because a large pile of unanswered requests makes LinkedIn stricter with you over time.

I connected an account but the panel does not show it

Close and reopen the side panel. If it still says nothing, the provider may not have finished waking the account up. Give it a minute.

REPORTING A BUG

Email simon@talentleap.ai with what you pressed and what happened instead, the campaign name if it involves sending, and a screenshot of the panel including any red text.
